A:  A Gold Star family is one that has lost a loved one who was deployed in a war zone.
 
Q:  When was Military Families United started?

A:  Military Families United was founded in the summer of 2008 as a not-for-profit, non-partisan 501c4 organization committed to supporting America's military families.
 
Q:  What does Military Families United do?

A:  Military Families United engages Members of Congress, the Administration, and the general public in efforts to communicate the truth about our brave men and women in uniform and their mission to protect our freedom that cost many of them their lives
 
Q:  How can I help?

A:  There are three ways you can help Military Families United
1.  Sign up for Action Alerts by clicking here. By signing up for these important alerts, you will receive emails periodically from Military Families United about important state and federal government matters that affect our men and women who proudly serve this country.
2.  Monetary contributions enable us to continue to provide support to our brave men and woman in uniform and their families. To donate click here
3.  Write/call your elected representative and let them know your support for our troops. You can call them about a particular piece of legislation or write them about your general position on our armed forces but articulating your opinion is vital to ensuring our troops will be able to effectively fight, and defeat, the enemy.
