Our History
Military Families United was founded in 2005 as a coalition of Gold Star and Blue Star families and patriotic Americans who wanted to honor the service and sacrifice of our troops and support their families. Since our beginnings in America's heartland, we have grown to represent thousands of families. Originally called Families United for Our Troops and Their Mission, Military Families United has a strong history of advocating on behalf of military families and engaging the public through media, events, and activism.
