Military Families United

Virginia's Gold Star families gathered in Richmond on April 17 for a luncheon at Sam Miller's Restaurant. More than 30 Gold Star family members from across the state were in attendance. They were treated to lunch, presented with a Challenge Coin, shared stories, and most importantly, had an opportunity to meet other Gold Star families in the area. With Easter Sunday just a few days away, families were also invited to share personal stories about their Heroes and the holiday.

Military Families United hosts Gold Star Luncheons across the country to provide Gold Star families with an opportunity to connect with others who have known a similar loss. These luncheons not only honor the sacrifice of these Heroes, but also celebrate their lives as only loved ones can.
